Suggested Attendees:
Anyone involved in PMO roles, as well as other managers and leaders who want to understand how to better empower the PMO to make a positive difference.
Background:
Without upper-level support and the acceptance of the project managers, running a successful PMO is exceptionally challenging. This session will focus on identifying methods to generate this support, enabling the PMO to fulfill its potential and foster IT project success.
The session will give special attention to overcoming key challenges PMOs are facing as the result of economic difficulties. These can range from lack of personnel and resources to the mindset that “we don’t have time for process” and “we need to put the PMO’s initiatives on hold until the economy improves.”
All participants will be given ample opportunity to have their challenges/questions addressed by all the knowledgeable professionals in attendance.
